so apparently some fans actually care that Benedict doesn’t like his fans calling themselves “cumberbitches.” this is fucking stupid because:

1. part of reappropriating a word from the oppressor means that you’re not obligated to care whether the oppressor likes it or not.

2. fuck you, it’s funny.

but I hope my fellow cumberbitches remember that you cannot reappropriate a word on someone else’s behalf, so allow other fans to self-identify.
